Christ Church Choir

The Christ Church Choir is a fun-loving but hard-working all-volunteer group which welcomes everyone.  The choral repertoire is diverse, including traditional classical anthems and service music, global music, songs and chants from the Taize and Iona communities, spirituals and gospel music. Children and youth, both singers and instrumentalists, are afforded opportunities to participate in the worship services. Contact Anne Wilson (acwping@gmail.com) for more information.

The Organ

Christ Church's three-manual mechanical-action pipe organ was built by the Rieger shop in Austria. It was installed in 1980 and was dedicated on Palm Sunday in a festival service with the Bishop of Ohio.

“The Christ Church choir is a vibrant group that enjoys worshipping God through song.  Our director/organist is wonderfully talented and brings out the best in us.  We sing a wide variety of hymns and anthems, often incorporating rhythm instruments, bells, or recorder.  I find great joy being part of the choir and truly believe that “She who sings, prays twice.”
